 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We were initially impressed with Eddy's fast response and attitude when he came out to give us a quote. However, he asked for our insurance estimate prior to giving us his quote (we never received a written estimate from his, he only used out insurance estimate). We let him know part of the estimate was for inventory and moving basement contents, which we planned on doing ourselves or hiring a company to do. He said he could have his guys take our stuff from the storage unit back in; however, when we said we would prefer to do it ourselves or hire that part ourselves, he said he could only do the job if we gave him the entirety of the insurance adjustment, since insurance had underestimated flooring costs. Eddy was unable to provide an written estimate for us to take to our insurance to prove higher flooring costs, asking to call our insurance adjustor himself instead.

We did not feel comfortable with the lack of a written estimate or breakdown of costs from his end, and him asking for our entire insurance estimate. He let us know he would throw things in for free, but then told us he needed to take money from other places in the insurance estimate to cover what insurance understimated us, but did not provide us with a written breakdown of exactly what lines he believed insurance underestimated. We did not move forward with a contract.
